Huz - Lead Vocals - Huz is a singer/ songwriter and producer from Auckland. Huz has written music for various artists including Tomorrow people, Junipah and Banditz released under Warner Music NZ, with many songs reaching the NZ Top 40 singles charts. Huz brings a unique energy and zest to every performance and to us as a team.
Lauren Filer - Lead Vocals - Originally from the UK, Lauren's passion for singing began in the 90's but we won't hold that against her! An active musician in her school years, achieving Grade 5 Singing with merit from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), A-level music and winning Gold and Silver medals in various singing competitions in the UK for Opera and Jazz. Lauren went on to join covers and originals bands, performing in London and most prominently at Glastonbury Festival. Since moving to New Zealand, Lauren has sang in multiple bands and worked as a session singer. Lauren loves singing live and seeing people having fun and that's what she loves about Frisky - the energy the audience bring to the show!
John McNab - Guitarist with Bachelor of Music with Honours, wide ranging gigging experience including festivals such as The Big Day Out, Rhythm & Vines, South By SouthWest in Texas, USA, supported bands such as 'The Strokes' & 'Pantera'. Also an avid fan & player of the Saxophone and he spent his teenage years in the 80s where his love for this era began!
Christian Brenk - Drums. Christian's love for playing music began at 8 years old in Germany playing Trumpet and drums for school concerts and as part of a Marching corps. After his studies he went of to play with several rock bands including Savage heart and Crossroad edge. Since moving to New Zealand Christian has played in several bands but really loves the energy and tunes of the 80s.
Daryl Cogger - Keys and backing vocals - Daryl has a wealth of experience in the NZ live music scene. With a passion for Jazz and 80s music, Daryl works in the music industry full time. He has a wealth of talent on the keys and with anything music tech.
